
Bio
Dorothy Tang is a landscape architect and Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture at the National University of Singapore. Her research examines relationships between infrastructure and everyday life, particularly in places undergoing major environmental and territorial change. Her work addresses water, infrastructure, and urbanization in East Asia; the landscapes produced through overseas investment in Southeast Asia and Africa; and the geopolitics of transnational watershed management. She previously taught landscape architecture at the University of Hong Kong and has worked across research, teaching, and design practice.
