Dorothy Tang is a landscape architect and Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture at the National University of Singapore. Her research examines relationships between infrastructure and everyday life, particularly in places undergoing major environmental and territorial change. Her work addresses water, infrastructure, and urbanization in East Asia; the landscapes produced through overseas investment in Southeast Asia and Africa; and the geopolitics of transnational watershed management. She previously taught landscape architecture at the University of Hong Kong and has worked across research, teaching, and design practice.

Justin Kollar is a planner and urban designer whose research examines how infrastructure, environmental change, and territorial governance shape contemporary urbanization. His work develops the concept of techno-statecraft to study how semiconductor fabs, data centers, energy systems, and other high-technology infrastructures reorganize land, water, and development priorities. He holds a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from MIT and master’s degrees in architecture and urban planning from Harvard Graduate School of Design. His comparative research focuses on the United States and Asia.
